Meet the Doctors

Dr. Dean Bechard received his Bachelors degree in Biomedical Science from St. Cloud State in 1980 and earned his Doctor of Chiropractic Degree From Northwestern Health Sciences University in 1985. He has over 24 years of clinical experience and has spent most of this time practicing int he northwest suburban area. 

Dr. Bechard has served as adjunct clinical faculty for Northwestrn Health Sciences University in the intern and preceptorship training programs. He has extensive post graduate training in orthopedics, neurology and motor vehicle accident injuries. Special skills include light force activator technique and traditional manual techniques.


Laurie Anderson DC DABCO

IMG_2759_1.JPGDr. Laurie Anderson received her Doctor of Chiropractic Degree from Northwestern Health Sciences University in 1984. After graduation, she opened her own private practice in Brooklyn Park, MN and grew that clinic to one of the largest and most successful in the metropolitan area. That clinic was sold in 2006. Today, you will find Dr. Anderson at Champlin-Dayton Chiropractic Center.

Dr. Anderson has more than 25 years of experience treating patients and is well recognized for her expertise and success in patient care. She has special interest in sports injuries, orthopedics, migraine headaches, whiplash, sciatica, shoulder injuries, orthotics and acupuncture.

She is a Diplomat of the American Board of Chiropractic Orthopedists (DABCO). As a board certified Chiropractic Orthopedist, she is one of approximately fifteen doctors in Minnesota and 300 in the nation with specialized post graduate training in orthopedics, advanced imaging, diagnostic procedures, laboratory procedures and patient management.

She has served as adjunct clinical faculty for Northwestern Health Sciences University in the intern and preceptor training programs and has taught many classes for Anoka Hennepin and Osseo school districts. Businesses and community groups often recruit her for presentations on a variety of topics, including carpal tunnel syndrome, acupuncture/acupressure, headaches and migraines, injury prevention for athletes and ergonomic education.

She is licensed by the Minnesota Board of Chiropractic examiners and registered to perform acupuncture. Also, She is a member of the Minnesota Chiropractic Association, the American Chiropractic Association, the Academy of Chiropractic Orthopedists and is Certified by the North American Academy of Impairment Rating Physicians.
